I’m pleased to announce my graduation from Trent University just two days ago. Trent graduations are held outdoors because the university doesn’t have an indoor venue large enough to accommodate the ceremony. The dark clouds were looming through my entire graduation, but fortunately not more than a few drops ever fell. This is an especially significant event for me because it marks the end of my full-time education for the foreseeable future, although my education is far from over. As Trent’s motto nunc cognosco ex parte (now I know in part) aptly hints, one should never cease pursuing knowledge and understanding. Certainly, my curious nature won’t ever let me stop inquiring and I look forward to a career that will necessitate ongoing learning.
