The Mole: Quiz and Execution (2005) - I wrote these two programs for an amateur production of the reality TV show, The Mole. They are open-source, and do not include installers. Please make sure you have the VB runtime installed on your system, and that you carefully read the bundled documentation before attempting to use the programs. The graphics have been designed to closely emulate the TV show, and when used effectively can help you produce your own Mole-clone production.

FileVault (2000-2002) - I first wrote FileVault in 2000. It’s a security program for computers running Windows 98. It locks out personal files on a hard drive and cannot be removed without a password. The last version was released in 2002. In all over 50,000 copies were downloaded.

DIY Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Years ago, I produced a “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” video, for fun. It was an elaborate setup with several camcorders, monitors, a set, and of course, some custom automation software. I wrote custom software for the superimposed graphics, then wrote a tutorial page on how to wire everything up, back in 2002. Since then I have become the only source on the Internet for Do-It-Yourself productions of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, this driving more traffic to my site than anything else. So, continuing with tradition, I present the original “Millionaire” tutorial, with the VB source code.

Note: You need video in/out hardware, Visual Basic 6, and coding skills to make the software work.
